I've never been a huge Star Wars fan, though I've always admired the expansive mythology behind it. What started out as three epic movies successfully branched out into multiple forms of media, each with its own take of the universe. What I love about the Star Wars universe as a whole is that it is so vast, and that there really is no limit to what can constitute as official canon. I mean, it is a whole freaking universe, after all.
Out of all the Star Wars mediums, my favorite would definitely have to be the CGI 3D animation. It fills in a lot of the missing info and backstory that was the clusterfuck that were the three movie prequels, while padding it layer after layer of rich mythos and adding bad ass characters. You know, like this guy.
You'll be glad to know that Season 3 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be showing on Cartoon Network at 9PM all Sundays of September. Sure, September's almost done and there are no more Sundays left in the month but I'm pretty sure they'll continue showing it, just probably not in the same time slot. Will confirm this info later.
The third season is all about character development and revelations. Who doesn't love revelations, right? The Force is such an awesome piece of this mythology and to see it explored a little further would be pretty damn cool. It's going to be an all-out good guy VS bad guy showdown for this run. Jedi VS Sith, doesn't get any more classic than that.
