If you're fortunate enough to have health, food, and work during the quarantine period, then you've got the basics pretty much covered. That's good - now your role is to stay at home and break the chain of infection (apart from donating what you can, of course). To help you out with that, you should go grab HBO GO. Here's a list of things that are coming out this April. Some of them are pretty exciting.
Well, first you're gonna be happy to know that you can now get HBO GO on your phones without needing a Sky Cable subscription. That requirement was completely messed up, so thank the gods it's gone.
Detective Pikachu
Premieres April 4, 2020 at 9PM on HBO GO. For the first time on Asian television, you can now catch the furry electric hamster and his deep-ass Ryan Reynolds voice from the comfort of your own homes.
When ace detective Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, his son Tim embarks on a journey to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu, a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who can only communicate with Tim. They join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. Stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton.
Girl Cops (Miss and Mrs. Cops)
This Korean buddy cop premieres on April 10, 2020 at 10PM on HBO GO.
After a young woman visits the police station to report a case of ‘spy-cam porn’, a pair of mismatched female detectives team up when they become frustrated at the mostly-male police force’s lack of action. Stars Ra Mi-Ran, Lee Sung-Kyung.
ThunderCats Roar!
If you're a fan of the original or even the 2011 remake, this might not be your cup of tea. Purists (who frankly should get a life) are going to downright hate it. Just remember that this iteration was made with younger kids in mind. If you think this ThunderCats wasn't made for you, it's because it really wasn't.
ThunderCats Roar! premieres April 10, 2020 at 9AM on HBO GO.
Lion-O and the ThunderCats barely escaped the sudden destruction of their home world, Thundera, and have crash landed on the mysterious and exotic planet called Third Earth. The newly appointed Lord of the ThunderCats, Lion-O, attempts to lead the team as they make Third Earth their new home. A bizarre host of creatures and villains stand in their way, and the ThunderCats have to stop the evil threatening to reign over the planet and their new home.
Escape Plan: The Extractors
It's an action-thriller starring Sylvester "Sly" Stalone and Dave "The Invisible One" Bautista. It premieres on April 11, 2020 at 9PM on HBO GO.
Kicking this explosive action tale into high gear, security expert Ray Breslin is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison. In the process, Breslin’s girlfriend is also captured. With his team, they must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out. Stars Sylvester Stallone, Jaime King, Dave Bautista, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson” and Zhang Jin.
Run
Run is a brand new HBO Original series premiering at the same time as it is in the US. It's a comedy about a lady whose life is turned upside-down because of a text she receives from a former flame who wants to honor a pact they made 17 years ago. It premieres April 13, 2020 at 10:30AM on HBO GO.
Ruby Richardson walks away from her humdrum ordinary life to revisit her past with her college boyfriend, Billy Johnson. 17 years prior, she made a pact with Billy that if either one of them texted the word “RUN” and the other replied with the same, they would drop everything, meet at Grand Central Station, and travel across America together. Stars Emmy® winner Merritt Wever (“Godless,” “Nurse Jackie”) and Domhnall Gleeson (“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” “Ex Machina”). Executive produced by Vicky Jones and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Impractical Jokers Season 9

Monster Beach
Here's something for the kids - Monster Beach. It premieres on Cartoon Network on April 25, 2020, Saturdays and Sundays at 6:30PM.
Enjoying an endless summer vacation, surf-siblings Jan and Dean have a monster good time on the island of Iki-Iki, hanging out with their laidback uncle and a bunch of mischievous, thrill-seeking monsters. Together with their new fiendish friends, they cruise around in hopped-up hot-rods, unravel mysteries of a local surf legend and prevent the bad guys from ruining their fun. Monster Beach is much more fun than your typical tropical getaway. After all, life’s a real adventure when your friends are misfit monsters.
Bad Education
Starring Hugh Jackman (the most fabulous Wolverine) and Allison Janney, Bad Education is an HBO Original Film about high school embezzlement, based on real-life events. It premieres on April 26, 2020, same time as the US, at 8AM (UTC+8) on HBO GO and HBO.

I Know This Much is True
No, don't worry - you're not getting rickrolled. I Know This Much is True is a 6-part Original HBO Limited Series starring Mark Ruffalo. If you've only ever seen him in the MCU, you should know that this guy's got acting chops. You should check out some of his other work.
