When Modern Warfare 2 came around, I was hella determined to get better. I failed miserably. I still play it to this day, though, and I get my butt kicked as much as I did a couple years ago. Maybe it's because I cannot keep still and I'd just rush right into the middle. I'm walking target. But I loved every single second of it.
When Black Ops came out, I finally got better because the game was more balanced and a little less run and gun. For someone who enjoys and excels at slower paced FPS, it is a mystery to me why I never went over to the Battlefield side of things.
So, while I'm going to give Battlefield 3 that good ole' college try, I will still stay loyal to the Call of Duty. Even though I've been hearing news that Modern Warfare 3 will be even more run 'n gun-centric and faster paced with less hiding spots, I'm excited to see how Black Ops gameplay affected the multiplayer.
Modern Warfare 3 will get dedicated server support, or so the rumors go. They will focus less on perks and kill streak rewards to make everything more balanced and they are nerfing the noob tube. Wait, so what is this? Counter-Strike on steroids?
I have a little problem of which platform to get it for, though. Console or PC? I'm planning to upgrade my video card anyway so I might be able to handle this.
How about you guys? Modern Warfare 3 or Battlefield 3? Console or PC?
