Build! Battle! Break!
Actually the press release says "Break! Build! Battle" but I felt like the breaking comes after the battle, but whatever. It's back! Gundam Breakers is back!
Gunpla enjoyers, REJOICE!
With Hundreds of Base Kits and Thousands of Parts to Build and Control in Battle, GUNDAM BREAKER 4 is the Ultimate Gundam Experience on Consoles and PC.
On the franchise's 45th anniversary, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is bringing back the series that combined mecha video game gameplay with custom gunpla building with GUNDAM BREAKER 4, arriving this year to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Ooh, it's on Steam, yeah? The mods are going to be wild.
You'll be able to pick from 250 iconic Mobile Suits throughout the GUNDAM legacy, and you can take your creations into co-op multiplayer with up to 3 friends. You battle your way through enemy mechs who will drop parts and materials for you to collect and use to upgrade your builds. There are a number of offline and online mods to put your mecha through its paces.
In GUNDAM BREAKER 4, there is a new feature where you can equip two weapons for unique combos, which should be something really interesting to play around and experiment with.
In between battles, you get to pimp out your mecha in a garage where you can customize with new parts, decals, and weathering effects. And with the brand new diorama mode where you can create scenarios with a variety of backgrounds, environmental elements, special effects, and a lot more. It's a gunpla enthusiast's dream!
Does this not sound exciting to you?
OK, here's more. There is a special Collector's Edition.
Designed with gunpla enthusiasts in mind, a limited-quantity Collector’s Edition will be available, featuring a specially designed physical model kit of the Gunbarrel Strike Gundam in bold colors with unique decals, parts, and variants. The Collector’s Edition contains the game, a 45-song digital soundtrack, a steelbook, and a Limited Edition Gunbarrel Strike Gundam physical model kit with over 3 different variants
