It was just days before the very first leg of Avengers Movie Event that I was around the boards waiting for news if these figures will come out. Until the very first day of the event, when I went in early for our displays ingress, I asked around if there will be new items other than the boxes, key chains, posters (that was so awesome) and the like and all the reps and even the guys handling the event had no clue. Around the afternoon, calls were coming in and SMS poured in regarding the 6" figures - they are on their way and was scheduled to be distributed the next day, Saturday.
As usual, woke up early, traveled from Tondo to Mandaluyong just for the release. Every figure of the wave is available - and not sold as a set (oh, yes!)
Enough of the story, on to the figures.

For this wave, we got the movie series Loki, Captain America (modern look), Hawkeye, Thor (re-used, new Head Sculpt), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo likeness) - and (wait for it) Iron Man Mark VI, Battle Damaged Version.
I do appreciate that Hasbro is releasing neat, articulated and accurate movie figures. Before. When the X-Men figures were released, I was really disappointed because of how they look and how the articulation turned out; the amount of figures or characters (and gimmicks) were a lot back then, though.
Let me point out some noticeable points regarding these figures and let the videos do the rest if you have some other inquiries.
The Captain America figure's shield sports a new gimmick - the straps can be adjusted and it has 3 pegs than can simulate different strap lengths. Alright, I'll cut it short - it took me a while to figure out how to lock it in properly.
Iron Man - it's just the Mk6 figure (released multiple times already) and they just darkened some parts of the armor to make it look battle damage.
Hawkeye - I suggest checking the video out for a clearer view, the figure's awesome! It just lack arrows. One arrow would do, Hasbro, seriously.
Loki - the likeness and the details are superb, but the height sucks.
Hulk - a top heavy, bulky and massive figure with Double Jointed Elbows! WIN!
Thor - same figure but a new head sculpt. Mjolnir's darker, which was pointless since the movie and other promo pics show a shiny one, like the movie Thor line release. If they were really intending to release a movie accurate one, at least, they could've just painted the boots with the right colors.

Price? Php1199.75 Hmmm, was it worth it? Do we have to explain why we have a higher price compared to the US and other countries? Well, for me, 1200 for such amazing, partially accurate figures, yes.
Here you go with the Reviews and I hope you enjoy it. It's been a while since I submitted an article here, missed it. :) So, that's all for now and don't forget to check my Youtube Channel and FB Page!
