- Dark Wolverine
- Big Time Spider-Man
- Wrecking Crew Thunderball
- Madame Mask

- Dark Wolverine (Mask Off Variant)

- Build-A-Figure Arnim Zola/Red Skull Zola (Variant)
That’s 11 figures, 7 regular ones, 4 variants (and all of them logical variations worthy of buying in my book) and a BAF Arnim Zola. It seems clear that this stands a better chance of catching the interest of collectors than the first wave of figures.
For one, it's got 2 variations of the Spider-Man character: costumes that he's actually worn in the comic book, and ones we have not yet seen in plastic form at this scale (or any scale, really). Spidey's the one that doesn't have the BAF piece this time, so fans of the Wall-crawler are in luck this time out.
It's also got the Heroic Age Captain America. Even if it turns out to just be a blown up version of the 3.75" figure that came out last year, it's still going to rock. Dark Wolverine and Fantomex both have a strong following, and that unmasked version of Wolverines bonny boy is looking good.
I'm not so sure about Drax and Madame Mask. They're both characters that I'm unfamiliar with but they look good from the early figures seen on the Net. I definitely want the Madame Hydra version. And the last two, Thunderball and Piledriver: well, you can never have too many bad guys, and with two of the Wrecking Crew out, you know that Hasbro's going to milk that for all it's worth and include the other two members in future waves. They can even use the same body, just like they did in the Marvel Universe line.
With the current suggested retail price of Marvel Legends at Php 1,000.00, this new assortment is going to cost you about 11 grand to complete, 7 if you don't want the variants (but come on! Future Foundation Spidey!).
It’s time to sell that kidney, guys.
Still no word when these will hit local toy store shelves. From the looks of it, most of the toys from the first wave sold out except for the remaining Klaw and Constrictor figures (if anyone wants to get me those for Christmas, I'd totally give you a hand job) so I'm crossing my fingers for that announcement after the Avengers Toy Launch.
Still not sure if I’ll actually pull the trigger this time around though. What with the Thundercats 6” line just starting and those awesome Turtles coming up, there’s so much want out there that it’s hard to decide where to sink your cash. I can always just live vicariously through Dominic’s reviews, anyhow.
