Can you use a character already picked? Yes, but only if you're going to pick a different version of the character. For example, someone picked Batman from The Brave and the Bold cartoon series. Another person can pick Batman from the comics. This is highly discouraged, though. Because c'mon, where's the fun in that?
2. Match up with your opponents
Using a mystical technology known as Random.org, I will randomly pick out who fights with whom. The brackets and the type of match will be dependent on the number of people who join. If a lot of people join, we might end up having Fatal Four Ways and Triple Threats instead of just the regular Deathmatch. Those match types merely determine the number of competitors who will fight in a single poll.
3. Vote for who you think would win given the match up
Each match has one premise - characters start out with all their default weapons, skills, powers and characteristics. The environment has no bearing in the fight. Just cast your vote in a poll box similar to this.
{jvotesystem poll=|2|}
Something like this, yes? I'm still currently looking for a polling mechanism that is better than this, but currently, this is what we have. If you have any suggestions, that would be great.
We'll leave voting open for 24 hours per match. I can pause the poll so voting ends then.
4. Winners move up the bracket
Until only one fictional character remains!
5. What's up for grabs?
Right now, we've got 4 Avengers inspired Paper Toss Designs shirts. 3 go to the winner and 1 will go to the runner-up. Although this is subject to change, of course. By the time this thing finishes, I may have more prizes!
Winners will be announced here. Okay, clear enough? Got any questions? No? Good! Sign up at the comments section below!
